What’s New?

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted about things going on with Homemade Horseman and myself. I am happy to say that I finally did get a job.  I have been working at a smaller local garden center for just over a month now. It has really been a blast, plus I keep bringing home more and more plants.

The horses have both been doing well and I am finally riding outside! Show season is starting to really take off and next week I will be heading down to Indy (sans horse) for the first IRHA show of the year. This year is going to be a bit of a rebuilding year, I think. At least the first half. Todd and I drove to Indy in March to pick up our very first trailer. It’s a 2011, 2-horse CornPro. I am so excited to see what I can do with it! I have big plans to do a project to make it something I could camp in on the weekend. No it doesn’t have a living quarters or much space, but we all have to start somewhere!

I have taken a bit of a break from sewing and creating as I have had to get into the swing of things at work, but I think May will be a big month for creative thoughts and maybe a few projects. I have a new item that I hope to add in the next few weeks. They aren’t perfected yet, so they may be listed at a discounted price for a while! They are decorated horse shoes. I love them.

In the meantime, 2015 has started off as my best Homemade Horseman year so far! I really look forward to what the rest of the Summer brings and hope to see many of you at shows! Also, I would love to see any of my products in action! Feel free to send some photos or tag Homemade Horseman on Facebook!
